PlatePages vs Squarespace for restaurants

Questions owners ask

Is PlatePages cheaper than Squarespace?

Yes. PlatePages costs US$99 a year. Squarespace's Basic plan is US$16 a month billed yearly, about US$192 a year, and ChowNow ordering needs the Core plan or higher.

Does Squarespace have QR code menus?

Squarespace gives you a menu block on a normal page; QR codes and table cards are set up separately. PlatePages includes QR codes that never expire, print-ready table cards and scan counts.

Can PlatePages look as good as Squarespace?

PlatePages' four templates are made by designers for restaurants: editorial, dark and moody, bold street-food and classic bistro. You add your colour, logo, fonts, photos and pages. You get less freedom than Squarespace, but you can't end up with a layout that breaks on phones.
